Accessibility Statement

Our goal

Voice of The Heart aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a finished task, and we review new pages and features with it in mind.

What we have done

The site includes a “Skip to content” link, a consistent heading structure, landmarks for the header, navigation, main content, and footer, and text alternatives for meaningful images. Navigation, menus, dialogs, and forms can be used with a keyboard. Form fields have visible labels, and error messages are announced to screen readers and linked to the field they describe. The site respects reduced-motion settings and works when text is enlarged or the screen is narrow.

We check pages with automated accessibility testing (axe-core, against WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules) and corrected the issues it found, including color-contrast and labeling issues. A full manual audit with assistive-technology users has not yet been completed, so some barriers may remain.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site rely on third-party services that we do not fully control:

• Automatic translation is provided by Google Translate. Machine translations may be inaccurate, and the English version is the official text.
• Spam protection on the Connect page forms is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. If the verification check does not work for you, please email us instead.
• Links to other websites, such as social sharing services and external resources, follow those providers’ own accessibility practices.
